The special tumble dryer for coconut silk and palm silk, also known as coconut silk dryer, is mainly composed of hot blast stove, feeding conveyor, rotary tumble dryer, discharging conveyor, dust collector and power distribution cabinet; After the selected silk fibers enter the dryer, the materials are evenly dispersed and fully contacted with hot air under the turning of the evenly distributed toothed stirring device in the drum, and the heat transfer, mass transfer and drying are carried out quickly, and they are discharged to the drum outlet. The selection and design of the process parameters of the production line and the technical parameters and structure of each equipment are obtained after careful analysis and research on the coconut silk fiber material, and are verified by the actual coconut silk fiber drying test. In the design of the scheme, considering the characteristics of silk fibers that are flammable, easy to agglomerate, and wrapped in bran residue, a series of technologies and processes are adopted to solve the problem to ensure good drying effect and cleanliness of silk fibers.
1. PLC smart control & high automaticity. The performance of the rotary dryer and moisture content of dry materials is automatically controlled in stable states.
2. High heat efficiency. The design of multiple circumferential flights combination and flow rate adjustment devices ensure the control of the drying period and temperature distribution. The effect of insulation is as high as 70% and raises heat efficiency by 20%.
