The bentonite dryer can use a variety of fuels such as coal, oil, gas, etc. At present, the boiling furnace is favored by users due to its convenient operation, energy saving, environmental protection, and easy purchase of raw materials. Some manufacturers also choose natural gas or coal gas generators for conversion, and the gas undergoes secondary combustion to achieve the drying effect. It is an environmentally friendly and energy-saving product that replaces traditional drying equipment.The bentonite drying system is mainly composed of a hot air stove, belt feeder, drum dryer, belt discharger, induced draft fan, cyclone dust collector, bag filter (or wet dust collector), and operation control system.
The equipment adopts the downstream drying process, and its working principle is as follows: The first is the guide area, where the bentonite enters this area and quickly evaporates water in contact with the high-temperature hot air, and the material is guided to the next working area under the movement of the guide plate with a large lead angle; The second is the copying area, where the bentonite is picked up by the copying board to form a material curtain. At this time, the material is in full contact with the hot air, and the water in the mineral slag quickly evaporates and strips into water vapor, and the water vapor is then sucked away by the induced draft fan. To achieve the purpose of drying; the bentonite is dried in this area to a loose state with moisture less than 5% (or lower). After heat exchange, the material reaches the required moisture state and enters the final discharging zone; The third is discharging In this zone, the drum does not have a copy board, and the material rolls and slides to the discharge port in this zone to complete the entire drying process.1. The fixed-speed quantitative feeder is used to solve the uniformity of feeding and drying in the dryer and overcome the previous problems of intermittent feeding, material blocking, and large instantaneous material volume. It is the prerequisite for improving the evaporation intensity.
