Coconut fiber has unique characteristics, such as moth-proofing, antibacterial, anti-corruption, and elastic. It is a traditional material for mattresses and cushions, which prevail on the market. However, coconut fiber is shredded from coconut shells. The moisture content of coconut fiber is 30-45%. The traditional treatments go through 3 to 5 days of natural drying thus wasting excess time and labor. As coconut fiber also experiences long stagnation without water. The material color darkens and the original golden color fades, mildew, and mixed with the silt impurities. It affects the quality of the product.

Coconut bran process: After desalination and dehydration, the 50-60% moisture of the coconut coir is taken out by the dryer to achieve drying, Coconut coir will be continuously scattered by the shoveling plate of the inner dryer and spiral forward which passes through the inner, middle and outer layers of the dryer. The flow of hot air will help to dry the coconut coir and the dry coir will be moved out faster as the wet coir has greater weight. The coconut coir will be fully dried inside the dryer, and the moisture will be reduced to 14-18%( can be adjusted according to customers' requirements). When the drying process finishes, the coconut coir will be discharged by a screw conveyor. There is a special device inside the dryer that can prevent the uneven drying effect of the coconut coir.
Hot air process: We configure high-efficiency energy-saving hot air furnaces for our dryer, the fuel can be natural gas, diesel, coal, wood, straw, rice husk, etc. It will supply oxygen-free air at 500-650ºC. After precipitation and removal of ash, it will go into the dryer, then will evaporate water and dry the coconut coir. The hot air temperature will reduce to 50-65ºC before discharging the coir. The humid air and dust will be taken to the professional dust collector to reach the discharge standard.
1. According to customer requirements, the dryer can be customized with intelligent control, one-touch operation. The operation parameters are controlled automatically. The dryer performs in the best condition to ensure the dried coconut coir is with uniform moisture, stability, and more energy-efficient than the traditional dryer.
2. One time drying the wet coconut coir the moisture can be brought from 65-75% to 14-18%. The temperature of the coconut coir is always maintained below 50ºC. The dry coconut coir retains its true and bright color with fragrant in odor.
