Biomass Dryer

Sawdust rotary dryer is the best choice for drying high-moisture biomass raw materials and producing high-quality biomass fuel. After the biomass raw materials are dried, the biomass combustion efficiency can be improved and emissions can be reduced. It can be used to dry sawdust, wood chips, straw, bagasse, wood shavings and all kinds of agricultural wastes, low energy consumption and high drying efficiency. Sawdust dryer is widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy, construction, mining and other industries. After the material is quickly dried, it can be further processed into fuels such as biomass pellets or biomass briquettes using molding equipment.

Working Principle

Process

The crushed materials with a moisture content of about 35-45% are sent to the drum by the conveyor to achieve downstream drying. The materials are continuously picked up and scattered under the inner layer of the lifting plate and advance in a spiral manner, passing through the inner, middle and outer layers. The material and hot air exchange heat, and the moisture content of the material is reduced to 12-15%. The drying process is completed and is discharged by the screw conveyor.
