A comprehensive sand drying production line includes essential components such as a sand washing machine, belt conveyor, rotary dryer, heat source, and dust removal equipment, ensuring efficient and effective operation.</sup>

Working Principle

 

^{The silica sand is conveyed to a silo by a belt conveyor or bucket elevator, then transported to the feed end via the silo feeder. The feeding pipeline's inclination must exceed the natural inclination of the material to ensure smooth sand flow into the dryer. The rotating cylinder of the dryer is slightly inclined horizontally. The material is fed from the higher end, while the heat carrier enters from the lower end, allowing adverse contact between them. They can sometimes be fed into the cylinder simultaneously. As the cylinder rotates, sand is carried to the lower side by gravity. During its forward movement, the wet material is roasted by heat directly or indirectly, drying the material quickly. The final product is discharged via a belt or screw conveyor. Shoveling plates installed inside the dryer lift the materials for increased airflow contact, enhancing efficiency and speeding up the drying process. The heat carrier can be hot air or flue gas. After drying, a cyclone dust collector captures airborne particles. A bag-type or wet-type dust collector can further reduce exhaust dust load before waste gas discharge.}
