Wood Pallet Machine - Product Description

The Wood Pallet Machine, developed by Zhengzhou Jiutian Technology Machinery Co., Ltd., is a revolutionary solution for creating high-quality wood packaging materials.

Using a unique working principle, this machine transforms crushed wood chips or straw into durable pallets. The process involves drying the material at temperatures between 300-450 ºC for 3 minutes, followed by a heat treatment time of 30 minutes to remove any remaining water. The dried material is then mixed with a thermosetting resin and molded at 220 ºC under a pressure of 1400psi or 98kg/cm3.

During the production process, the internal temperature of the pallet reaches 105 °C and is maintained above 56 °C for more than 30 minutes. This ensures the elimination of any insects and microorganisms present in the material. Additionally, the high density of the wood pallets prevents the re-intrusion and propagation of any other insects.

The resulting molded product is an advanced "artificial wood packaging material" that surpasses traditional "solid wood packaging materials". It meets the requirements of ISPM15 (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures 15) for Wood Packaging Products. As a result, there is no need for pest control, and the product is free from live insects and microorganisms.

With a final moisture content of not more than 9%, these wood pallets are highly durable and suitable for various packaging needs. They provide a reliable and eco-friendly solution for transporting goods, ensuring the safety and integrity of the products being shipped.

Production Process

Wood Chip Pallet Production Process

Preparation of raw materials:

• Choose wood or straw varieties based on pallet load-bearing requirements.
• Chop them into 1-2mm toothpick-like sawdust.
• Strictly control the bark impurity content to be less than 5%.
• Use magnetic separation to remove impurities.
• Dry the raw materials in a dryer until the moisture content is less than or equal to 5%.

Mixing:

• Use a roller mixing machine instead of a high-speed mixing machine to prevent wood chips from breaking.
• Set up two spray systems to add different mixtures separately.
• Commonly use isocyanate and urea-formaldehyde resin mixture, or phenolic resin and melamine resin.
• The sizing amount should be between 3% - 8%.
• Add measured wood chips and adhesive into the mixing machine.
• Control the moisture content of the mixture between 6-8%.

Pavement and hot pressing:

• Use special equipment for pavement.
• Pave the mixture twice, first for pallet and preload, then for the plane part of the pallet.
• Fix punches in the upper part of the hot press on the activities of the beam.
• Place the die between the hot press and paving machine.
• Use a special stripping device.
• Pre-pressure and hot-press the mixture in the mold until the resin is fully cured.
• First sintered wood chips, then quantitatively pave them into the metal mold for cold pressing preforming.
• Place the mold in a hot press for final press molding.

Side trimming:

• Mainly for side cutting to remove surplus flash from the product's edges.
