Spent Yeast Dryer Product Introduction

JHD Brewers Waste Yeast Dryer is a kind of indirect heating dryer in continuous production. Raw material fed from the top or bottom of the drum and stick on the drum. Filling steam or thermal oil inside the drum, the heat then transferred to raw material, thus raw material could get dried. Flake form dried product will be scraped off, and preliminarily crushed as well as transported by screw conveyor. Evaporated moisture will be sucked out by the exhausting fan. The dryer is suitable for liquid or pastes from raw material with a certain viscosity.

Brewers Yeast Dryer Equipment Product Features

1. High efficiency. Almost all of the heat could be used on drying, drying efficiency could reach 80-90%.
2. Widely used. The dryer is available for drying the raw material with a large moisture content range. We could get the best drying effect by adjusting the feeding rate, the thickness of the pavement, drum rotating speed, feeding form, etc.
3. Short retention time. Drying time only remains 10-15 seconds, it is suitable for heat-sensitive material.

Beer Yeast Dryer Working Principle

Our brewers' yeast dryer product takes advantage of heat conduction between hot steam and wet materials, realizing the indirect drying process. The drum is a hollow metal cylinder whose surface is deeply processed to be clean and polished. The drum rotates to the axial underdrive devices (gear drive) at an adjustable rate. The slurry is preheated to 50ºC in the preheating tank and then delivered to feeding chute through the pump. The drum is immersed in about 60-80mm. The external surface of the rotating drum is coated with a layer of uniform slurry and pumped in the hot steam under 0.15-0.3Mpa. The slurry is heated on the external surface, where moisture is taken away by a draught fan. With a single circle, the wet materials can be dried completely. Knot material on the external surface is swept off by scraper and falls on the outlet for collection.
