The brewer's grain dryer is a device specially used to process the by-product of breweries - wet brewer's grains.

Feeding and distribution: The wet beer grains are fed into the dryer through the feeding device. In the initial stage of the dryer, a distribution device is usually designed to ensure that the wet beer grains can be evenly distributed in the dryer. Hot air supply: The dryer is equipped with a heat source system (such as a hot air furnace, steam heat exchanger or electric heater, etc.), and the high-temperature air generated by these heat sources is blown into the dryer through the fan. Inside the dryer. High-temperature air forms a hot air flow in the dryer, which comes into full contact with the wet beer grains.
Heat exchange and evaporation: The wet beer grains exchange heat with the high-temperature air in the dryer. The moisture in the beer grains evaporates into water vapor after being heated, and mixes with the hot air to form humid hot air. With the continuous circulation and replenishment of hot air, The moisture in the hot and humid air is gradually taken away, and the beer grains gradually become dry.
Dehumidification and cooling: During the drying process, the hot and humid air generated is discharged through the dehumidification system (such as dehumidification fan, dehumidification port, etc.) The dryer is outside to prevent the accumulation of hot and humid air in the dryer and cause excessive humidity. At the same time, in order to reduce the temperature of the dried beer grains, it is sometimes necessary to set a cooling device at the outlet of the dryer to cool the dried beer grains. The dried beer grains are cooled.
Collection and storage: The moisture content of the dried beer grains is significantly reduced, making them easier to store and transport. The dried beer grains are collected through the discharging device and can be stored as needed. packaging, storage or further processing.
