The Coal Drum Dryer system is an ingeniously designed mechanism, comprising a hot blast stove, belt feeding machine, drum dryer, belt discharging machine, induced draft fan, cyclone dust collector, bag filter (or wet dust collector), and an operation control system. Utilizing a downstream drying process, its operational principle unfolds as follows: Upon entering the drying drum, the wet material undergoes a meticulously orchestrated sequence of stages:
1. **Feeding Area:** In this initial stage, the coal enters and swiftly interacts with high-temperature hot air, causing rapid moisture evaporation. The material is then lifted by a guide plate at a steep angle and directed towards the next workspace.
2. **Copy Plate Area:** Here, the coal is lifted and cascaded by the copy board to form a material curtain. This ensures maximum contact with the hot air, leading to the rapid evaporation of moisture, which is then removed by the induced draft fan. In this area, the coal moisture content is reduced to below 15%, achieving the desired dryness level before proceeding to the final stage.
3. **Discharging Area:** No copy plates are present in this section. The material moves smoothly towards the discharge port, thus completing the drying cycle.
Innovative Technical Structural Characteristics of Coal Drum Dryer
1. The advanced coal fixed-speed quantitative feeder revolutionizes coal feeding by ensuring uniformity in travel throughout the dryer. This innovation eradicates previous challenges such as intermittent feeding, material blockage, and fluctuating material volumes, thus enhancing evaporation intensity.
(1) A uniquely designed buffer silo and feeding mechanism effectively eliminate issues of intermittent feeding and abrupt material changes, ensuring consistent material supply.
(2) A high-inclination, unpowered screw propeller at the drum's feed end distributes wet coal slime evenly into the drying section. It also slices and breaks large chunks of wet coal slime for more efficient drying.
2. The dryer's internal structure is meticulously optimized to amplify the heat exchange area between the material and hot air, significantly boosting evaporation intensity.
(1) Continuous refinement of the drum's internal layout and lifting plates has culminated in our unique internal lifting plate structure and functional mixing section layout. This ensures uniform handling of coal without dead zones or gaps, maximizing heat exchange and accelerating the evaporation of moisture from the coal.
(2) Our patented layered drying technology for rotary drum dryers leverages the varying speeds at which different-sized granular materials are heated and travel inside the drum. This multi-component layered drying device ensures small granules do not over-dry and large granules receive even heating, guaranteeing uniform drying.
3. Our hot blast furnace selection and optimized internal design reduce air leakage, maintain oxygen content in hot air below 5%, and allow precise temperature adjustments between 700-1100°C. This provides a stable and uniform heat source, ensuring reliable high-intensity operation of the coal dryer.
4. Our advanced measurement and control technology system employs a computer operating platform and frequency conversion PLC control. This system interlocks and jointly controls process parameters like temperature, pressure, oxygen concentration, and equipment speed, enabling automatic detection and control with centralized and local switching functions for stable, optimal, and safe operation.
5. We have enhanced our dust collection system with a three-stage configuration: gravity sedimentation, cyclone dust collector, and wet/bag dust collector. This ensures that dust concentration is below 30mg/Nm3, meeting all exhaust emission standards.
